Default My First Massey

I grew up on a small farm in NC. All we had were Massey Tractors.A 35 ,135,210compact,165,and a 1100. In 1990 I broke my dads heart and bought a 870 JD compact(boy was he mad). Than both brothers than bought Deeres but one since corrected and bought a 360 a very nice tractor.
I now have a chicken farm in Mt Ulla NC and needed a good
tractor as the Ice storm of the 2002 taught me the old 340 International wasnt going to cut it. So I went shopping and on the day before fathers day I bought a 451. It works great
from zooming in and out of the chicken house during clean out to pulling a 7ft Vicon disc mower on my hilly farm.
Yes I love my first Massey and highly recommend this tractor to anyone needing a real utility tractor.
Thanks for letting me share my little story.

Congratulations on the new tractor. The MF 451 is good, very stout built tractor. It will serve you for many years.

Are you back in the good graces of your father now that you've "returned to the fold"?

How about posting some pictures of this fine machine? We haven't had our daily quota of tractor pics yet!

Thank you and yes I am back in his good graces. My brothers actually bought the John Deeres with his approval since the JD dealer was so much better. But now things have evened out and we have a good MF dealer again. Im not going to say that Massey is the better brand but for my needs it was the best choice.
