I have a 1972 MF175, Perkins diesel, multi-power transmission. My main use is heavy brushhog work. I use a Howse heavy duty 6' cutter. I cut some grass, but mainly cut under growth on a timber farm in central tx. This tractor just breezes through 1" to 1 1/2" diameter undergrowth. It has really been a great tractor.

Good old tractors. In the same league with MF 135. We farmed 200 acres with a 135 and 175 back in the middle 70's. The 175 was the "big" tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Pulled a 3-bottom plow, 8ft disc, and 4-row planter rig with the 175. You should wear out several mowers and punch holes in a lot of tires before you wear the tractor out.
