Tractor
MF 1428
I have a MF 1428 with a 1500 series loader that I just moved to my new home in VT (from PA). The tractor runs great but the loader valve suddenly would not float. I had to drive back to PA for business so I took the valve off to take to my old dealer who traded it out. I stupidly but forgot to label the three hoses. The dealer (who is a friend of mine) is literally out sick. I can find nothing in the manual for either the tractor or the loader to ID which lines go where. Can anybody out there save me from myself PLEASE.

Only 3 hoses to hook up? How many rams?

Do you have quick connects or are you plumbing everything together?

A picture of the valve would help, along with some info on the hoses and rams.

Surgeon,
Try this diagram and see if it helps.
Does it look like your set-up?

Can't help with a solution!

But having been in similar conditions my hozes are now marked with dots from a center punch. Others have used a variety of diferent marking methods. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Different colored Zip Ties on each hose and the connector it connects to (same color on male and female ends). So when you remove the hose just connected to its matching color. Easy, fast and good old cheap.
