1428v - Did I do OK
Well, I got rid of my L245 a few years ago and finally found the need for a tractor again. My friend is moving and I boght his MF-1428, 110 hrs, 4WD, Hydro and 5' bush hog.
Paid $7800. Did I do OK?Roger

If it's in any kind of decent shape and works for you, I'd say you made a good deal.
Some of my ancestors hung by the neck, but none by the tail.

Does sound like a good deal. What year model is it supposed to be? What do you plan to use it for?
