If you want the piston to extend when you push the lever forward and it doesn't, just reverse the hydraulic lines on the spool valve. |

| Re: Rear remotes on a GC2310 I'm getting closer to the plumbing part of my grapple build. I'm still a little confussed tho. The controls for the FEL have 3 lines going to the valve. I don't know what hose does what. I know one is supply and one is return but was supprised to see a third. From your pics I can see the return line with the tee but I'm not sure where the other hoses go. Does the feed go to the new vavle then the FEL valve?
Also, this my sound dumb on my part but what does PB stand for? I heard it used a couple time when referring to plumbing the extra valve.
Thanks, KC |

Thanks, KC | KC,
If it will help, this is how the factory does it on the larger 1400 series tractors. It has the three lines. The one labeled "Tractor Mounted Valve" would be like the one you want to install. There are other ways to make it work, but this is how the factory does it. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/a...valves-backhoe |

| Re: Rear remotes on a GC2310 Thanks for the info Jerry.
So the three hoses going to the FEL valve is 1) pressure 2) return 3) to BH? Is that what PB means?
One more question. If I mount my new valve like the one in the pic (before the loader valve) and it has pressure release function built into the new valve, if I over use the grapple and it dumps back to tank, won't that also stop all flow to the FEL? I doubt I will even be able to use the grapple and FEL at the same time. I was just wondering.
I do know a little about hydraulics but I've never work on a tractor before. Hope my questions don't sound too stupid.
Thanks again, KC |

| Re: Rear remotes on a GC2310 One more question. The valve Dan is using, is it for controling 2 hydraulic pistons? It has 4 QD and 2 levers. For my application it will only have one piston. |

| The "pressure release" is called a relief valve. It's spring loaded, so it will only dump fluid to the tank when the piston stops moving and the valve is still sending fluid to the cylinder. Your FEL valve would probably still work as the diverter valve will not send ALL the fluid to the grapple, especially when it stop.

Why not start your own thread since you keep having "one more question"?

| Re: Rear remotes on a GC2310 So Danny,
How much money do you have in this so far? Are you getting close to the $500 I told you?
I'm just bustin' your chops You've done a nice job.
