Massey Bucket drag..- OUCH

Not trying to Troll, but a buddy at work just sent me this and I thought I'd share..

Apparently the bucket fell going 18 mpg. OUCH

Must have been wearing his seat belt, didnt see any 'face' imprints on the cab glass. I'll bet if he told his buddy ' here, hold my beer and watch this, I'm gonna park the whole tractor on top of the loader bucket ' his buddy wouldn't have believed him.

Looks like the Loader Bucket stopped in about 4 feet, pretty impressive that the loader arms dont look like a pretzil (sp?) . Must have had the bucket lip down to dig in like that. Have always been told to run down the road with the bucket rolled up, not down, just in case. Now I can see what happens.

Ouch!! I hope no one was hurt. That is gonna be $$$$ to fix.

There is no fixing that unit, it will be in a salvage yard soon.

What happened? Looks like it fell off a trailer? Was someone driving it down the lane? Anybody know the events previous to the twisted pile.

I'd bet, by the amount of damage, the trailer was hooked to tractor. giving it extra force. If tractor wasn't attached ,it probably would have flipped forward. plowking

Whatever the circumstances surrounding the accident, I'd bet the operator doesn't repeat them anytime soon. That had to hurt.

A lesson to be learned. Keep your bucket in the curled position when not using it. Had the bucket been curled it would not have dug into the gravel road like a boat anchor.
