Default Neighbors CT47 died...Help?

My neighbor was going down a hill on his CT 47. Towards the bottom, when it flattened out, the tractor died. It had about 1/2 tank of fuel. If it sucked air, how do you bleed the fuel system? Does this sound like what happened? Thanks.

Unless it was a big hill I'd doubt it sucked air. I'm not familiar with a CT47, but on the fuel filter of my tractor there is a shut off valve position that says "bleed"
