Mc Cormick loader on a S77 Oliver
Hey Guys, I have an old Mc Cormick front end loader on my Oliver S77 and it won't raise it more then
2ft. off the ground. I checked the hydraulic pressure on the left and right side of the system. The pressure is less than 800 lbs. on each side. I put all new
seals in the cylinders and there is no cylinder to dump the bucket, it's a trip lever. How much hydraulic
pressure is required to operate an empty loader. The right side operates the 3 point hitch and it works
fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks George

Does your tractor have enough hydraulic fluid capacity? My guess is that you might be using up your hydraulic fluid. I've seen that problem with a Farmall H which was fixed by adding an extra reservoir. 800 psi would be plenty to raise an empty loader.

Hi Dk. Thanks for your suggestion about adding an extra hydraulic tank for my loader.
I'll try it when the snow melts. George
