Equivalent to JD790

I just got a quote on a new JD 790.

What's the closest Kubota? And at what price?

From my reading the Kubota 2600 dt is the equivalent tractor. I would guess it could be purchased for about the same amount as the 790. Check out Carverequipment.com under the L series tractors to read an interesting comparison of the 790/L2600. It would seem that the Kubota L2600 is the superior machine.

The L3000DT is closest to the JD790. The JD has 30hp and the L3000 32.

Very close in price too. Let me know if you need anymore info on the L3000.
