I'm considering building a pull type grader and looking for opinions.
My lane is about 1200 ft of gravel and my current choices to maintain it are a 7' rear blade, 5' box blade or a 3' wide really heavy LPGS. My wife likes the grass strip in the middle which is why I built the LPGS but have...
Saw this today sitting in the carpool lot down the road from my place. One of the local house movers that's been at it for 40 yrs or so. I'd say it's a tad tongue heavy.
It's alive!!! :cool2:
Well, ok, not the grapple but my new service panel:
Just think of all the possibilities...... Now to start moving the tools over so I can get back to work on the grapple and about a thousand other projects that have been waiting for this
I got the frame all welded up the other day and got to play with it a bit on the weekend. It's only a skidding plate at the moment but it was still way nicer to work with than any of my other options. Although I measured about a dozen times when making my hyd toplink, the frickin thing is an...
Crowded with a quick hitch? Na, it's not that bad..... Just added the hyd toplink yesterday. Even with all this, I still have room for my 6' 2" and 245 lbs self in there running the backhoe
Similar idea to what I'm doing but I won't have anywhere near $2100 into mine....closer to 1/4 of that.
My buddy got me the full size drawing on the weekend. Good thing for plywood templates. I was 3/4" too long on my cross link and also on the pin centers of the main mounting plate. Only...
I've got 2 drawings now for the grapple.
The first one with the "Bruce method" mentioned back in post #12
For the second, I started with the first and then adjusted it based on measurements and photos that Rusty emailed me:
They are fairly similar but with some notable differences...
As I hope to add a winch to this in the future, it will be built with that in mind, not just as a grapple. Started off with a 42" length of 8" wide flange I beam and cut one flange off to make the blade/anchor
5" heavy channel I had laying around to make the 36" 'verticals' and a piece of...
I'm looking to build a log grapple/winch for the 3pt of my B3300. I've been watching for 2 yrs now for a used skidding winch to show up but nothing small enough and they are crazy expensive if they do (like 80-90% of new for a beat up piece of junk). I've been planning something similar to...
I'm looking to dig a hole to bury a bunch of old concrete, dirt/wood/steel debris from an old barn foundation. Trying to decide if it's cheaper to hire it out to a full-size excavator or rent a kx080 and do it myself. I'm plenty skilled as an operator and not looking to factor in my time...
So are what you guys keep calling drones really a drone or are they actually a UAV? I'm looking for clarification as my understanding of the terms doesn't seem to match.
A UAV (Unmanned Ariel Vehicle) is remotely flown by a 'pilot' who is controlling the thing via radio controls and viewing...
Lots of threads available about the benefits of groved R4s and how happy people are with them. Is there anyone out there that is NOT happy with the mod?
Please only post if you have actually done yours and are either neutral (didn't find it made a difference either way) or not happy and would...
Its actually not that big physically. Considering the flow of my tractor, I went with the 8 gpm valve which isn't that big.
I still need to build a cover plate for the hoses but that seems to keep moving further down the list of priorities
Top spool is 1/4" for BH thumb or snowblower chute...
