I just bought a used golf cart. The specs call for 80w-90 API Class GL-3 or 80w-90 AGMA Class EP Gear Lube. Are the API ratings for gear oil cumulative like they are for engine oil, or does the API GL-5 gear oil I already have not meet the specs for API GL-3?
