    Problems with the 5145

The braided wire solution I use has not given me any issues so far. It uses the same screw hole on the tank side, but on the cap side I drilled a hole and put a machine screw with nut on the inside of the cap. So if brush snags the wire at least the new components are stout enough to not launch...

    Problems with the 5145

Sure can. I'll grab some pictures after work and post them. I agree the strap is flimsy and the way it hangs off the side makes it easy to snag on anything. The way I've done the wire is where I can actually spin it so it rests flat against the tank.

    Problems with the 5145

Brought mine into the dealer and fixed the leak. Pinched O-ring. The latest thing was the PTO safety switch sheared itself from the two mounting bolts while I was thrashing through some ungodly big muscadine vines and scrub. Ford 3600 rear lift all or nothing

1979 ford 3600, recently purchased and have noticed the rear lift is either all the way up or all the way down when the lever is engaged. Has both levers for draft control and lift control. With implement on the ground, lift does not engage until the lever is almost to the 2,3 position and when...

Hinomoto e232 PTO lever seized in Neutral

Hinomoto e232, unknown year. Interested in purchasing and checked it out. Mostly operational and drives fine only issue is the Lever to engage PTO is stuck in neutral. No matter how much finesse is applied just does not budge. PTO shaft spins freely and will free spin when engine is turning over...
