John deere mx10 or Woods ds120 pull type, which one would you buy?

Thinking about a 10 ft pull type rotary cutter, got good price on jd mx10, going to look at woods, does anyone have any recommendations?

What size rotary cutter do most use on m7040? I have a 6 ft but want larger maybe 7,8, or 10 ft, don't want to go to bat wing as I do a lot of close and rough work. I will probably stick to 3 pt hitch, does anyone have any suggestions on this? Thanks

I called dealer today for outside air filter for cab air conditioning, $69 for a $10 dollar filter, where can you buy these besides the dealer? They look like an air filter for a Toyota car, I called Advance Auto Parts, they said they didn't stock any tractor filters. This is highway robbery.

What are main differences in these tractors?

How much oil usage should I expect on new m7040 engine, bought new first 50 hrs none, next 90 hrs about one third down on dip stick. I know this is not much, but I wondered what others did with this engine. I haven't added oil yet, I assume the marks on oil stick is one quart.

Have m7040, not hydro shuttle, and clutch is hard and quick, one thing that I do not like about it, hard on old knees when used a lot. What do others think? It is much more uncomfortable than my jd 2155.

I put hay forks on and fed cattle for the first time with new m7040, handled two 5x5 rolls, front and rear, well, very stable on hilly ground, beginning to really like the Kubota.

Change filters only or change hydraulic oil and filters, what do most do? Book says change oil and filters at hrs.

Ok, I have run my m7040 about 50 hrs, the manuel says to change engine oil and hyd oil and filters, my salesman says to only change the filters on the hyd oil and catch what escapes during the change, in a clean bucket and pour back in. The only problem with this is being able to keep the fluid...
