    All thread rod as rebar

I second the "try to sell it" and then buy cheaper rebar (if that makes sense price wise where you are).

    Show your fire extinguisher

Tree branches also will render them inoperable. I was mulching brush, heard a funny noise, and saw what I thought at first was smoke coming from the mower. Stopped, quickly realized a branch had knocked the extinguisher off the ROPS and it met its demise!

4wd front tire size for TS3510?

Crappy Chinese tires have held up, but prone to getting thorns. Recently did some googling of my tractor, found an advertisement with one for sale, and in the photo it is possible to make out that the front tires are Hankook, as are the rears (on mine the rears are Hankook). Given that this...

    Acme Lombardini carburetor parts

My Goldoni has an LA490 motor. The rubber boot thing, under which is a fuel filter insert, leaks horribly. Anyone know a part number or even better name that rubber thing is called in Italian so I can find a spare part over here in Europe? Going to try another temporary fix...

    Kohler CH440 ACR spring

My woodchipper has this Kohler motor. It became impossible to start- i.e. pulling the cord wouldn't turn it over. Somewhere I read this could be the decompressor on the exhaust valve not working, so I removed the spark plug, and sure enough, no problem turning the motor over. Last week I...

BCS 853 dying when powering Berta Flail Mower

What kind of engine? I have a wood chipper with a Kohler engine. Suddenly became hard to start. Remove spark plug, abd it turns fine. Something has happened to the automatic decompressor mechanism. Maybe the same problem with yours. Haven't had time to take mine apart and see inside tho.

    Goats ate the invasives

I think it has a lot to do with how they're raised. Most of my goats aren't friendly, but the one whose mom died last winter and we had down by the house with the kids is definitely friendly. She comes when called, and likes to be petted.

    What kind of Box Scraper?

It arrived. Weight on nameplate is less than what is on the web. Maybe weight of shanks wasn't included? Would have to take it to the scale at the scrapyard to really see. Didn't do kuch with it today, aside from a bit of assembly and a little test.

    What kind of Box Scraper?

I took the plunge and ordered yesterday (they got back in stock the 150cm model). Guess it will come sometime next week.

Are you of Slovak (or other eastern european ancestry)? You might be able to help your distant relatives!

Living in rural Slovakia, I am most familiar with the situation we have here regarding land and inheritance. I just helped a friend in the village get in contact with his distant relatives. Although he is a historian, his pressing motivation is to get a hold of land that was basically "lost" to...

    What kind of Box Scraper?

I'm looking at a Chinese box blade as well: RBB4FT 150 cm GEOGRASS leveller with basket Does this look like the sort of thing y'all run into? There aren't many options for box blades in Europe, it doesn't seem as well known. There is a public tractor path that runs in between our property. I...

Building a 14*28 foot storage shed

(It is likely that your ancestors would have been Byzantine Catholics, but in the early 20th century in America married Byzantine Catholic priests were banned, and this lead to a schism and the formation of the Carpathian Orthodox Church in America. It wasn't till the past decade that finally...

Building a 14*28 foot storage shed

I would think your maternal grandparents village was in Ukraine. There the Byzantine Catholic churches were not legal again until communism ended. In Czechoslovakia, the Byzantine Catholic church was made legal again in 1968 (many churches had been given to the Czechoslovak Orthodox Church, but...
