The mechanical shuttle 8 forward 6 reverse is the best correct vs the power shift 24 forward? Is there an easy way to tell the difference in the cab or anywhere else on the tractor? Is there a serial number break for them? Any advice be great thanks!

I replaced my headgasket on my tractor I've been told that you should get the engine warm then go back in and make sure your head bolts are torque to the right lbs, would it hurt if I didn't go back in and check or will it be ok to run the machine Thanks
