My friends above mower works fine if the steering wheel is turned to the left or straight ahead but the minute the wheel is moved to the right the tractor stops moving forward. I have no idea about how to troubleshoot this problem so any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 1972 started running really rough and I noticed gas pouring out of the carb. Since it was the original carb (Holley) I changed to a Zenith thinking the Holley was worn out.
Now the Zenith does the same thing. The tractor will start but despite moving the throttle there is no power advance...
In checking other forums I learned that most surging is caused by leaks in the intake manifold so I took the manifold out, cleaned it, and put gasket sealer on it.
Everything was put back together correctly but I still have the surge. Can someone point me in another direction pertaining to...
I hope someone can help me in locating the hydraulic filters for this gas tractor.
I know it take two filters, intake and exhaust but I have no idea where they are located on the tractor.

I recently read in this forum about a new seat for my 2305. This new seat would eliminate the "joke" that is the seat that has to be "lifted, spun around and then sat on" in order to use my backhoe.
I went to my dealer and ordered the new seat to the tune of $590 plus tax.

I'm a "noobie" here on the site but I've been "lurking" for some time. I have a 2305 and recently put on the above backhoe to include the "subframe".
