Anyone have input on this unit. The reviews online seem good, but I am learly due to the negative tranny issues folks are having with the DRT900. Its between this or a Troy Bilt Super Bronco. I was sold on a cub cadet, but I have read too many negative reviews on their trannys too.
I'm in the market for a new tiller. I am thinking of buying the Cub Cadet RT65 (dual rotating tines) or the Troy Bilt Super Bronco (counter rotating tines). I understand the benefits dual rotating but what if one only used the crt tiller? Will this still produce good soil conditions? My soil...
Looking at buying a tiller. Reviews from Lowes and other outlets suggest that the DRT 900 model has some transmission issues. People talk about grinding noises, popping out of gear, etc.. Anyone has some input on these machines?
Found an Oliver 550 for $2500. It seems to be in good shape. I do not know much about these machines, so any input would be appreciated. Are parts easy to get/inexpensive, etc...
I've never owned a tractor so this is new territory for me. I honestly do not know anything about tractors. My requirements are to be under $2500. I need to brush hog with it, pull cut timber for firewood, and hopefully some day pull a disc. Any ideas?
