    Another BX Chain Hook Option

Here's a little rainy day fabrication project I finally got done, something planned shortly after I bought my BX24 in March of 2008. I've only had a few occasions to transport the tractor locally, but never found a really good way to chain down the front end to the trailer (the back was no...

    Hardfacing with S-7 drill rod

Has anyone here tried using TIG with S-7 (high shock) drill rod as a filler to hardface FEL buckets, BH teeth, etc.? I've read elsewhere on the web where someone used S-7 drill rod on an anvil and wondered if it would work for our stuff. Is there something better for hardfacing when using TIG?

    Wallenstein Test/Eval/Prototype BXM Units?

There's an ebay listing for what looks like an "unmarked", used BXM 42 from someone in Kitchener Ont., Canada; that's only a few miles from Wallenstein's home of St. Clements. Looks the the lister sold another one on April 14th. Both listings make NO mention of "Wallenstein" or BMX 42. Could...

Now that I'm getting a little older, I need to outfit myself a little better for this snow pushing job my wife expects me to do, and I'd like a bit 'o advice from you folks that brave the bitterness WITHOUT a cab or cover over the old orange machine. Should I bundle up like a snowmobile...

    Shear pins and Snowblowers

Okay...I keep reading about shear pins shearing (or not) on snowblower PTO shafts and I only have one question: Why aren't slip clutch type shafts used on more snowblowers? Is it cost or an engineering thing?

    Where to get A-Frame Struts?

Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of cat 1 A-Frame struts as shown in the attached .jpg? Exact size does not matter other then they fit my BX24 3 point hitch. No paint/primer required, just bent correctly and with lift and top link pin holes. BTW, is A-frame strut the correct name for...

BX Series DIY Backup/Reverse Alarm Warning

Do any of you BX owners have a backup alarm? I'd like to add one to my BX24. Mostly I work alone, but when others are around I'd like to activate it for some additional safety. Finding DIY parts is not a problem, but I was wondering if anyone knows of an electrical output that goes...
