Took FEL off, now won't function correctly (4110)

Well, that was it! Went back out, pulled the boot up from the joystick and could see which valves were operating in which direction I pushed/pull the lever, and swapped a few lines around and now we're cooking again! Now to mark the lines so I don't do this again. Thanks.

Took FEL off, now won't function correctly (4110)

I took the FEL off our 4110 to make it easier to trailer to the shop that did our clutch job for us. I received the tractor back, and have hooked the FEL back up, and after much fiddling with which hoses go to which fitting on the joystick (no, none of the color coded zip ties were there and I...

    4110 wont go...

I am experiencing this same issue with my 4110. It will perform basically normal in LOW (1-4) as well as MED 1 or 2, but as soon as it's under load going up a hill or a muddy spot even on flat ground, it stops going. I can either leave it in the same gear it's in, and it will eventually get...

    Bad alternator? (4110)

Please see above, new battery and new alternator installed. I don't think those are the issue at this point.

    Bad alternator? (4110)

So, I replaced the battery (and battery cable clamps so they'd be nice and tight) and replaced the alternator, and what resulted was different starting issues. I'll try to be concise: About a week ago, while snowblowing, the tractor died. I was able to restart it, but the PTO wouldn't work. I...

    Bad alternator? (4110)

I had only charged the battery to about 70% according to my charger, so perhaps that's also accounting for it only starting at 12.2? I can charge it fully and see what it reads then.

    Bad alternator? (4110)

We're having issues with our 4110, where the battery keeps dying after a couple days of use. I just charged the battery up to 12.28V, hooked up a multimeter to the terminals, and started it up. The meter immediately dropped down to about 11.70v, and then after about 10-15 seconds slowly climbed...

Mahindra 4110 review after 16 years

Have had our 4110 for way less time than ya'll, but the best thing I ever did for the overheating issue was removing the side engine guards/cowls, whatever they are. That increased the airflow around the radiator and engine significantly. That and staying on top of any radiator clogging with a...

PTO push button won't engage (4110)

The push button for the PTO on our 4110 won't engage. You push it, the red lens lights up, but it doesn't hold/click as it should, it just slides back out. I have tried with the toggle PTO switch in all 3 positions and that doesn't affect it at all. Any thoughts? I can't get a new one until...

    4110 can't lift bush hog

I bought a King Kutter Heavy Duty 72" bush hog, and thought it should be fine sized for my tractor, a Mahindra 4110. But now that I have it assembled and hooked up, the 3 pt can't seem to life the cutter. It'll lift the front of the cutter where the pins are, but the rear rides on the ground. It...

    Clunking in front axle?

Well, I finally had a chance to fully pull both Final Drives off each side. What I found looking down the tube from the left side does not seem encouraging. It looks like gear bevel on the front diff and the pinion bevel is toast. I haven't pulled the bearings/gears on each final drive but as...

    Clunking in front axle?

I took the right side partially apart the other day, and the bearings I could see looked fine. I did find some damage to one of the lower gears, as seen in the photos. I think I need to wait for a warm day and pull both sides and fully investigate it looks like. I can't imagine that that gear is...

    Clunking in front axle?

So I finally have a decent morning to take a look at things. I collapsed the tube on the front driveshaft, and have put up a few images on this post of each end. The collars are not broken but they do slide some. Is that normal? Again, this is the first time I am looking at this so I have no...

    Clunking in front axle?

Our 4110 has developed a clunking that seems to be coming from the front axle. It only occurs in 4WD, and it occurs roughly every 2 seconds, in forward and reverse. It clunks, and the tractor kind of skips/lunges slightly with each clunk. I drained the front axle gear oil and did find some...

    Bent coulter arm

While opening up a new field this season, one of the coulter arms on our 2 bottom plow bent back/upward. Not only is the coulter now out of line but it also rubs the plowshare. Any thoughts on how to bend this sucker back into alignment?
