Just aquired a ford 3400 w/ front end loader. all systems work great except the steering. It is as if the hydraulics are not working to assist the steering.
The Fluid reservoir is full.
Any suggestions as to what to check next?

The injector pump on MF 165 leaks fuel from the throttle link at the injector pump.
Can you tell me what seal or fitting goes in there to keep fuel from leaking?
If I don't turn the fuel valve off at the tank the fuel will leak from there and drain the tank over time.

I have a JD Model 111. The motor is a 1983 11 horse according to the serial number. I am sure this is the original motor so this should be about the age of the mower.
The motion drive belt has shreaded. I have never replaced it but have replaced the deck belts in the past.
