my glow plugs took too long to heat up causing the glow indicator to burn thru the dash.i cleaned the connections to the glow plugs and it helped a little.but u still have to wait for 45 seconds for the glow indicator to glow.i pulled the dash and saw that the glow indicator connections were rusted and the wires showed sign of excessive heat.i damaged the glow indicator while trying to get it off.i used emery paper and cleaned all the connections then replaced the glow indicator.now it takes 10 seconds for the glow indicator to get red.new glow plugs will be installed next.
