What's it worth??

I have what I'm guessing to be a 1979 or so S-370D Satoh Beaver 4wd. Not sure how to find out exactly what year it is, but I do know it is in excellent condition. Paint is all original as are the turf tires and cat.1 3pt. Not sure exactly how many hours it has because these tractors don't have an hourmeter. The guy it bought it from said his dad had it when he was alive and he didn't think his dad put more than 500 hours on it. I bought it in Jan. '05 and put an electric hourmeter on it when I bought it. It now shows 72 hours. I recently bought a JD 2320 because I wanted a newer tractor with hydro, power steering, live pto etc. What is a tractor like this worth?

Depends on where your at. Some areas are hotter than others in this size tractor.

I purchased mine last year with a rear blade, tire chains and woods finish mower for $1200. I got mine from the original owners, the paint is better than most 370's i've seen but I would only call it fair condition and it needed a new seat. Other than that it is a sound reliable tractor.
I think I got a pretty good deal but in this catagory tractor a good deal and not so good deal are sometimes only seperated by hundreds of dollars.

Where are you located? Are there attachments? What way does the PTO spin?
