650G-won't run
The tractor has set for year. It used to fire right up. It will still run if I continue to shoot gas into the carb. I drained all the old gas and put in new. There was no change. I'm guessing it needs a carb rebuild. If so, what kit is needed and where do I get it?

Re: 650G-won't run
you may not need any kit as yet.the trouble may be that when gas sits in the carb for long periods the gas turns to varnish and blocks the jets also closes the float valve.what you have to do is remove the float bowl and clean with carb spray free up the float valve and clean out the jets.then put it back together and you should get it running. If you need parts go to www.satohparts.com

It is common for the accelerator pump to go bad on these carbs.

Thanks, the pump had seized. I cleaned it and got it working again and the tractor runs.

Re: 650G-won't run
Thanks for the info in what can happen when it sets a long time. I got it running again and I did not have to get a rebuild kit. You guys saved me.
