Satoh S650G Transmission oil/ Hyd Oil
Just bought a used 650G and found this cool site. Lots of very useful info. I found a thread where a jgreen posted helpful info, but on the transmission his post said the tranny would take .92 gallons to refill. I trained mine last night and overfilled a 3.5 gallon bucket, so I'm a bit confused. Maybe the previous owner overfilled it? Also don't know if filling it with a 75-90 gear oil will be OK? Can someone let me know where is the drain for the hyd resovoir and the fill is on this tractor. Thanks for any advise.

Re: Satoh S650G Transmission oil/ Hyd Oil
After looking at more threads I found that it will take 5 gallons of Gear Oil for the Transmission and the drain plug for the Hyd is beneath the Right Arm of the 3 point and it takes about 1 gallon of fluid. Everything is starting to make sense now.
