mt1801 diesel suddenly started blowing smoke and running poorly

Hi.
My tractor has been running fine.
Just used it yesterday.
Today I was using it for about 5 minutes when suddenly the engine slowed down and it started blowing smoke. Lots of it.
after parking it, I pulled the dipstick and the oil started running out.
I know it didn't have too much oil, but now it seems like it does.
I checked the radiator while still hot. it still has water and had pressure when I opened it.
It has been raining but I don't think there is water in the oil, and it has a hood over the motor so I don't think it could get in there anyway.
The oil is black and NOT foamy so I really don't suspect water.
Is there any way the fuel can get into the motor or something?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe diesel fuel in the oil by the sound of it. Some one else will have to give you advice on how it's getting there.

Check hyd oil, if a little bit low then it could be the hyd pump seal.

I went back out and checked the fuel.
I don't think its missing enough fuel to be the problem.
I think leejohn got it right on the head.
Its probably the hyd pump.

I think you got it.
The pump has been weak for a month, and thinking back, right before it started smoking today it got so weak it didn't even want to pick up the blade on the 3pt. It did pick it up but it was very slow.
And hyd fluid is the only thing that makes sense considering how over full it is.
Think I'll replace the oil and take the pump loose to see if that fixes it.
If so I'll get another pump. It needs replaced anyway.

Hi.
I drained and refilled the oil with sae 40 to correct level, and I removed the pump.
Its still blowing white smoke, not near as bad as before but enough to be a bit of a problem.
It didn't smoke before. I'm wondering if it broke a ring, bent a rod, or maybe blew the head gasket.
Any suggestions?
Is there anything minor having too much oil could have done to the motor?
And if it does need internal parts, any idea where to find rings? Could I possibly put used rings in it if necessary?
I did notice it does better hot then cold, and I noticed gasket cement on the water neck. I don't know if it has a thermostat. Anyone know where to get one?
