I need to replace the hydraulic pump, or get it repaired.
The tractor is an mt1801 with a 4 cyl diesel.
I can get a new pump for $550, or a used one for $350.
A bit more then I wanted to spend on a used pump and I don't really need new, but I don't know what I can replace it with, or if it can be rebuilt.
I don't know the manufacture of the pump but it does have a number gp-3757a
Is a kit available for this pump, or is there someone that rebuilds them?
If not does anyone know where to get a used one that will fit at a reasonable price?

Thanks :)

I bought a new higher GPM pump from NCW Tractor Parts, LLC As best as I remember it was under $350. If your old pump just needs a new seal, they can probably supply it for a few bucks.

Hi Kernopelli.
Thanks for the info. $350 for new is definitely reasonable.
I haven't been to that site before.
I don't see a pump listed for the mt1801 but I'll probably give them a call. Its quite possible that they just don't have it listed.

I have a spare for a MT372D. If it's the same one I'll sell it to you for what a paid for it, $240. I thought i needed one bit turns out i was having a different hydraulic issue.

I have the same tractor and am puzzled where you check the hydraulic oil level? Can't find a dipstick or check plug just a filler

hi.
mine is an mt1801 with a manual transmission.
the fill cap, next to the shifter, has a dipstick on it.
its a round rod about 8" long. the full mark is about 1" from the bottom of the stick.
hope this helps.

Hmm mine has the fill plug on the shift cover but it's just a rubber plug about an inch in diameter, no dipstick on it. Guess I will measure a stick about 8 inches long and use that!

Thats what I would do.
Its just hydraulic fluid. it wont matter if its a little high or low.
If its too low you'll know by the hydraulics not working correctly.

Hello, I see at one time you were looking a hydraulic pump for a Mitsubishi MT1801. I was wondering if you able to locate one? I am in need of the same thing.

Thanks
