    Default Montana R2844 FEL Capacity

I'm considering buying a used Montana R2844 with front end loader. I have searched online for the loaders capacity and I can't find anything. How much weight can it lift to 3' and to full height, and what is the breakout force. If anyone knows, or has an electronic brochure for this tractor, I would love to know. Thanks!

Thanks for the specs. I bought the Montana 2844, and have been very pleased. I also saw the Model 100 specs, but they seemed quite high for a tractor that size. Most other 25-30 hp tractors have 1000lb capacities, so 2,300 seemed very high. My father-in-law has a NH TC29D, and his FEL is rated at 900lbs. I haven't lifted anything over 2000lbs, but if I do, I'll find out if the numbers match real world!

I thought it was high too... but on the Montana website the Model 100 was their lightest FEL and it seems it was used all the way up to the 45hp 4540, like mine. From various pics I have seen they used the Model 100 and 115 (made by Ameriquip IIRC) which has curved main loader arms but I've seen Montana branded loaders with angled arms also. Here are pics of a couple of 4540's to show you what I mean...

You can always call Montana at 866-405-5043 and speak to Henry. He's the parts guy and he has helped me with tons of info.
