Huskee LT4200
Hello to Y'all:

I recently purchased a Huskee Model LT4200 and have used if for about 3 weeks now and it works fine for what I need. This machine is made by MTD.

However, there is one problem I would like to try and resolve. It does not cut while in reverse, and that is something that I really need for my small yards. I could have bought the larger model Cub Cadet that has this feature, but honestly, being on SS I could not afford it, and it was much too big for my needs anyway.

Is there anyway to reroute or change some wiring in order for this machine to cut in reverse? No one at TSC, where I bought the machine can tell me...and I really need some help with this.

If any of you boys can help me I would be most appreciative, and I can be reached directly at: nitram.w@mindspring.com

Thank you for your time and help,
Marty

Sir:

I appreciate your reply but have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I told the forum upfront that I was a complete technical zombie, and telling me to bypass the switch means nothing to me.:ashamed:

Can please you be more specific as to what wire(s) have to be disconnected from where, going to where, and what color they are?

Now I can still strip a G.I. .45 blindfolded and use to repair pocket watches, but lawn tractors and wiring are just not my thing.
