MTD Model 141- move universal joint to replace drive belts to PTO ?
I have to replace the drive belts to the power take off. The drive shaft goes thru them .
Therefor I must slide a universal joint back on the drive shaft and off the motor. I am a little afraid of trying.
The Penney manual states "16HP, model 1853, Catalog No. 811-0801"
It is MTD Model 141-990A.
I have a note that it was manufactured in 1981.
Thanks for your help,
Brent
