To be honest since it was sitting in a shed for nearly 8 years untouched there may be a little bit of oil on the manifold.....

Try the nicarest patch, or just make it quit cold turkey :laughing:

Sorry, I'd start with cleaning things up carb muffler plugs and just do a good tune up then go from there

Douse liberally with gasoline.....in an open gravel parking lot. Ignite.

i didn't mention those because a sticking choke is easy to diagnose with visual inspection, and a bad flaot should kill it eventually as it floods out and then sends raw gas out the drain or mouth into the air intake..

UPDATE

I just had it running not to long ago and NOW SHE'S LEAKING OIL FROM THE VALVE CAP!!! (aka the valve COVER) I think it might be the gasket but who knows.....

Oh yeah since oil leaks from the valve cover which is directly over the manifold that might be the problem!
