Yes, it actually works great except for spraying out the fluid.

hmm... gonna need rickb and / or ultradog on this one. I don't mess with ps very much past maintenance.

now if you need a manual box rebuilt.. no problem..

Today, first thing I tried the power steering and again it was squirting fluid several feet in the air. I then tried it with the filter removed and it still worked and didn't squirt fluid. I then drained the Power Steering reservoir and cleaned it and put the filter back in and filled with fresh fluid. After this it worked and didn't squirt the fluid. I used the tractor for about 30 minutes and it worked fine. I'm not sure what made the difference, but I'm hoping this problem is in the past.

perhaps a bit of gunk was plugging somehting and bew free and was then cleaned out during the service?
