I have a wiring problem, had to install a new wiring harness and now the fuel gauge reads full all the time and the temp gauge reads overheating even at start up. should a resistor or resistor wire be used ? how much resistance? anyone who knows why these gauges don't read properly I would like to hear from.

On the back of the instrument panel, there are a bunch of spade terminals that aren't clearly labled. I had a similar situation on my 4610 due to the previous owner hooking up some wires to the wrong terminals. I fixed the problem by looking at how my 345D was wired and moving the wires to the same terminals on the 4610. If you think this is your problem, I may be able to help.
