FORD 5000 diesel 1976
Greetings new to the forum!
I own an english FORD 5000 diesel 1976 i have changed the original engine after two block cracks and i have placed propably a bsd engine around 85hp (6610 or 6640) the new engine has this two idenfication codes FO NN 6015-CB & HH3 4 A 06.
I know that FO means 1990 NN means Tractor Division 6015 means Engine Block Code but cant find anything for CB and HH3 4 A 06.
Any help please ?

Thanks japody for your reply but i am asking for the engine specs. My father replace the engine around '94-96 i am not sure if its a 6610 82hp genesis or a 6640 86hp powerstar

The CB part number suffix means that there have been many changes to the original FONN-6015-A, followed by B,C, D, etc through Z, then AA, AB, AC .... AZ until the A cycle is completed, followed by the B cycle, then the C cycle until your CB change level. That is all the intelligence this knowledge affords.

Opti-Mist thanks!
I have the impression that 6015 -C means 1962 if i am not wrong.
Anyway thanks both of you.

Part numbers do not correlate to the calendar save for the first two characters of the prefix (F0NN). The alpha suffix is simply a sequential indicator of changes to the original drawing.

As you say is just a sequential indicator of changes i agree,

Stami, just found your post. The engine serial number, stamped into RH ledge or rib behind the bolster, starts with a letter, followed by 6 digits. The letter indicates the engine model. I don't have the code at hand.
Also, in your first post, 4A06 is the date code. Yours is January(A), 6th(6), 1994(4) build date.
