Our Ford 4400 Industrial has started to not want to turn to the left. Turning to the right is easy, but trying to make a left turn you have to fight it.

Anyone ever have anything like this happen? What are we looking at, Steering pump or the cylinder which is under the radiator.

Well after reading around the internet it seems thats its the control valve on the cylinder. I'll have to look into that since we have our 4400 torn apart.

Since you are taking it apart, you should find the problem, but worn bushings on the main arm cause the steering valve to only adjust for right only or left only power steering. The sense arm that activates the steering spool travels very little to cause the spool to open and assist in steering, so any slop in the pins, bushings or linkage can cause problems.
