I appreciate all of the good advice given on the TC40A. I drove one over the weekend at the dealership and found it to be a great tractor. The ergonomics are well engineered.

Having said all of that......I believe that I am going to research used tractors a bit more carefully. The 0% for 5 years deal has expired on the TC40 series and $22K is a lot of money, especially when I have a new house to build and 2 little boys to raise. I do need a tractor to work on my land, but I found a couple of used tractors that might work very well. I will start a new post on the used Kubota and JD that I have found.

Don't forget the Case DX versions of the New Holland TC tractors. Close to the same but red instead of blue. If you find one model you like it lets you look for both colors and more availability. That helped me out.
