NH T1520
Looking at NH to see what compares with a Kubota 3400, dealer sells both lines. Thought I read the TC30 was replaced by the 31 but the NH site still shows it.

Wanting a geared basic tractor with at least 25 pto hp for chipping. The T1520 looks good with 29 pto hp but haven't seen many comments about it.

Thanks

The local NH dealer has both the TC30 and T1520. The 1520 is identical in physical size and layout, just has more HP.

does that mean the displacement on the engines is diffrent, or they just tweeked the fuel pressure as ive heard more than one person doing for a few extra HP... (NH list the diff at only 5 hp.... well within the fuel pressure tweek range if i understand right)

Some of the specs

TC-30: displacement 91.3 cubic inches, 30 hp engine, 25.5 hp PTO (geared)

T1520: displacement 101.4 cubic inches, 35 hp engine, 29.5 HP PTO (geared)

I Saw one at the dealer , what caught my eyes were the yellow lettering on the side. it seems to be almost identical with a cursory inspection i made. The rest of the spec is pretty much the same as TC-30. At 2400 lbs it is 15 lbs heavier than TC-30 with R-1, geared tranny and 4WD.

And, until the end of June, the TC30 has the 0% for 60 month option. That would tempt me to add a BH but I like the 1520's higher hp..

Did I read about others getting to 0%/60 months on a TC35 or 40, or was that for May?

Guess it is time to visit the dealer again.

Thanks for the help.

Currently, New Holland is offering 0%-36 on the T1520.

0%-60 is still good on the TZ, TC30, TC31, and TC40 tractors, though changes may come with the end of the month.

Saw a T1540 in a dealer's lot last Sat.. The most impressive thing to me is the front tire tread width, looks it wider than a NH TC40D sit aside. Don't know if it is customized. T1540 should not have 2wd version.
