Looking at Ford 1310,750 hrs, FEL, 1984 (I've been told). Any info would be appreciated. Looking to clear wood lot and plant wildlife plot and make trail system thru property. Size okay for wants?, engine hp, PTO hp, big enough to run wood chipper? Any info would be apprecited. Far price would be ??

Thanks spencer200. I thought the machine was a little small for chipper work also. The Valby site lists a chipper 140 for tractors this size. I was questioning the reality of their claims.

Do a search on TBN for the Valby 140 chipper.
There's a gent named Glenn that runs one (Valby 140) on a John Deere 670 (19.5 HP, 16.5 at the PTO).

He's had good performance with his combination.

I've no idea what the Ford 1310 specs are, but if they're comparable to the JD 670, the Valby 140 might be for you.

Gee, this is my 100th post here...might get a bottle of champange!

What are you giving for your 1310, and is it 4WD? I'm buying a New Holland TC 30, 4WD, 9x3, 7308 FEL with 60" HD bucket and R4 tires (loaded) for $15,800. And I have a 1985 1310, 4WD, 770A FEL with 750 hours which I'm trading in. Dealer has offered $5,900. He originally stated that it would retail for $6,000 tractor plus $2,000 for the FEL, sight unseen. I've listed it in the paper for $6,800. Am I close?

You and I are on the same wave length. We're both checking out the 1310 on the net. Your answer is yes, $6800 is reasonable. See my message on jplan site, good luck !!
