How much does a TC34DA/FEL/backhoe weigh?
no fill in tires.


I can't find info on the NH website anymore.
info needed for towing.

From a New Holland Dealer's online specs (republished CNH data)

TC34 DA = 2,526 lbs
FEL = 560 lbs (600 lbs for a super-steer loader)
757C = 872 lbs

Total = 3,958 lbs. add 50 lbs for fluids and conservatism and you are right at 4000 lbs.

Most of the time, the weights listed for FEL and BH do not include buckets. I'd add at least another 500 lb for buckets. For example: The 16LA loader is listed at 770 lb. Add the bucket at 350 lb and you are over 1100 lb.

I'd say that you could safely tow a 7,000 GW trailer if you don't have the BH on. I think with the backhoe, you'll be pushing the limit. You'd be much better off with a 10,000 lb GW trailer.

Good catch... agree that one should add for the buckets. 4k lbs seemed a little light when I calculated it. I would also agree that a 10k trailer would be a safer bet than a 7k -- which is the route I went with my H&H...

How about 800 lbs for loaded tires?

I would account for loaded tires on my machine (cause its there), but johnnylight indicated there was no fill in his....

I would load it and go to a set of scales. My TC 29 with FEL and a woods 7500 BH with 16 inch bucket, full of fuel weighs 5000 pounds. There was some misc. items on trailer that day that may have accounted for some of the weight.
