My neighbor has a used TC35DA w16LA loader and 30 hours use. Tractor is one year old. HST with QA loader. He mentioned he was interested in selling so I told him I was interested in buying. He is going to check his payoff balance and get back with me tommorrow.
Can anybody tell me what these sell for new? What are the typical financing terms (curious what his approx payoff might be) I know it is just a guess but I am curious as to what to expect a fair price would be for this tractor&loader. Thanks Chris |

I don't have any exact answers for you but see if it has the R4 tires, grille guard, extra hydraulic lines, loaded tires....etc....all of that really can add up....
Look on some of the used tractor websites. That sound like a very new tractor- the hours are really low- but if you can't pay cash (most of us can't) then be sure to check how much intrest on a used tractor is. New Holland has prettygood financing available right now.... Quote:

R 4 tires, no rear remotes don't know about tires being loaded, no grill guard and yes ,it is practically new. Neighbor said he bought it for some projects around his new home and now he is done with it.
Thanks for the input Chris |

You really want to know how much the payoff is and how your neighbor financed the tractor. It could be that he is upside down at just one year unless he paid a substantial down payment. Leasing would probably have been a better option, but he may have chosen financing because he got a better deal up front. I would probably offer him $18k-$19k and see if he takes it. You know the history of the tractor, so that gives you an advantage, but the original selling price was probably about $21k.

I'll tell ya, I looked long and hard......that's a smokin' deal!!!
It's the goodies that people usually "give" away with a tractor that really add up. I think that tractor, alone is about 15k new and the loader is 3600-4k new.....the other things are just gravy! It probably has loaded tires....... yep, we need pics to confirm that it's a good deal! Quote:

He must of had the 0% financing and just wanted the pay off.
Good for you, but for 31hrs... he paid 7-8k for a few weekends of work that he could of just rented for a grand or less. ![]()

I've got my eye on one a TC35D at the dealership here that has a little over 600 hrs on it........equipped the same way.......fel and hydro with the same type tires......a late 2002 model...........
they are "asking" 16500.00 for it.......I'm sure they would take some less.....but it sounds like you got a sweet deal...... I sure like this tractor.......it's going to be hard to shake the fever for it.... good luck and happy plowing... |
