Default price for 1720 w/ 7108 loader ???

hi, i'm looking at a piece going up for auction, it's as follows:
1991 Ford 1720 diesel
4x4, 3 pt hitch, pto
has ford 7108 loader and shows 2784 hours.

what would be a good price assuming normal service, wear and tear.
might bid on this and sit my wife on it to work around the property.. thx for any feedback, opinion, regarding this!

They go from 8k without a loader to 16 k with a loader. Hrs are a bit high and not much info on the shape of the tractor, storage , etc. I'll check it all, 3 pt, loader, clutch and pto clutch throughly before I buy a "pig in a poke' in an "as is" auction. I say 7 to 10k is the range I'm willing to pay for a 18 year old tractor. it is a great little tractor... it is 3 cylinder as well.

JC,

Two years ago I bought a cherry 1720 with 245 one owner hours for 7K with my Yanmar YM 1700 as a trade. I valued my Yanmar @ 2K so I got 9K in the tractor which included a Woods medium duty box blade.

Check out the tractor to make sure it is in good working order. The hours would not be a deal breaker for me if the unit had been properly maintained. If it is in good working order she should be worth 8K to 12K.
