What price should this go for? Supposedly an 08, less than 5 hours, one remote in back, 270 front loader, and EHSS.

No canopy, industrial tires, weighted w/ ballast.

Tks for your replys. This is expected to be zero%, 59 months.

I understand this to be a same item as the new 4055. According to dealer, I can get the new 08 T2410 for about $3500.00 less than a 2009 machine.

I'm really curious about whether or not I should make a counter offer. He did make the effort to locate the tractor in order to keep me from having to pay more for the rebadged tractor (T2410>now is a 4055).

Will the tractor have a "full new warranty"? If so, it would seem the $3500 discount makes it a good deal. Just my opinion, but it does sound like a fair deal on a tractor that has always been on the dealer's lot.

Having said this, you didn't mention what the new 2009 tractor's price is. Knowing that number might get you more comparative responses. I'm surely not an expert on prices, but I'd expect the tractor to be in the high 20s or very low 30s

Sorry, I didn't put any prices up there did I.

Well, the 2009 was quoted at $31,600 and $28,000 for the 08. It was the full warranty offered.

I'd like to ask him if he would throw in a canopy($500), QA front forks($1,000), and second remote in back ($600) for $29,000 to see if he would bite. These prices were his quotes on the goodies.

I haven't even sat on one to see if I'd like it yet since they dont have one on the lot. But coming from a 51' 8N, 63' JD 4010 its gotta be comfy etc.

I need it for the hydraulics, FEL, 4WD, the mid range HP (55) compared to what I have right now of too much and too little. I dont know what the heck I'm waiting for.

$28k sounds like a reasonable price to me. I would not expect the dealer to have too much room to spare to sweeten the deal on that price. If you want a deal, you might ask for the extras at dealer cost rather than thrown in free. Also consider that a remote added will require the dealer to pay his service personnel to install it. If you agree to do the installation yourself, he might be more willing to deal.

I think Jinman is right, that is an excellent price on the new 2008. I also agree that, at that price, I don't think you're going to get anything "thrown in" since the dealer is at rock bottom.

But, at the same time, I also agree with you, what the heck are you waiting for???:D:D:D

Alrighty then. I've signed up for the "new" 2008 T2410:EHSS, FEL, MFWD,2 rear remotes, and added the insurance while under financing term. It added $18 per month and has a $200 deductible but being that we get hurricanes and the barns it will be stored in are old I felt like it was a necessity. 0% 60 months.

Unfortunately, it wont arrive at the dealer until next week. He assured me, I'll be able to look it over to make sure it has no issues. When I get it, will do my best to post some pics.

Oh yeah, I did manage to get him to throw in 2 hats for free. I'm a regular wheeler and dealer!

I hope it comes with a owners manual.
