TD 5000 series

Does anyone have any info on the TD 5000 series? I heard from my dealer that the TD80D is being replaced (renamed) the TD 5030. Anyone have any info about this? Is is possible he was confusing it with the T 5030?

According to the NH web site, what used to be the TD80 is now the TD5030.

TD5030 is Tier3 replacement for TD80, both built in Turkey. T5030 is Tier3 replacement for the TLA tractor, which iis built in Italy.

FYI, I just confirmed that the TD line are built at the Jesi plant in Italy, and not in Turkey.

When did New Holland move the production of the TD line to Turkey? In 2007 they were being made in Italy.

CNH is getting out of bed with Cummins. The joint effort NEF (New Engine Family) is discontinued because Cummins is no longer part of the development and production of this engine. All CNH tractors of this size use a CNH branded engine produced by Fiat's Iveco.

I'm glad they now have the same engine in the TD5000 and T5000 (old TL) series. I had the old version in my JX85 and am much happier with the power and smoothness of the new 4.5L engine.
