just depend on we are doing . We can finish mow for the city at about 1500rpm all day and be just at under a 1/2 tank. But bush hog mowing you better be filling it up by 2:30.

My TC-29 burns about 1 gallon of Deisel per hour bush hogging ..only 29 hp though. My JD 3020 I usually bush hog for a whole day 8 hrs or so and use maybe 1/2 a tank .

With respect to your question on remotes, they put one set of remotes on the back of my tractor and threaded a line up to the front so I can attach a graple and if I need to use them for something in the back, I just disconnect line.
