who can i buy a compact tractor built by shibura. have 1520 and love it, but understand new holland has drop them.

The current New Holland economy models are still built by Shibaura which are the T1510, T1520 and T1530. The nicer Boomer 2000 and 3000 series tractors are built by Shibaura. The newer Boomer 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 50 models are all built by LS now. Another very good/long proven tractors are the John Deere 3005 or 4005 models, which are built by Yanmar; they are on par with the Shibaura tractors. Also, Kubota make some good bare bones tractors if that is what you are looking for.

I was told that the models you refer to are being discontinued and are limited to dealer inventory.

The NH Boomer 2000 and 3000 series are discontinued. The NH economy class T15xx series are standard Shibaura built tractors. Last time I heard dealers were still able to get those tractors in, but that could have changed. One of the NH dealers on here will hopefully chime in a let you know if T15xx series are still being offered.
