Ford 2600 Ford 3910
Was wondering if someone could help me identify this tractor. It looks like an 800 series industrial tractor from the 60's. Has loader/backhoe attachment all for $1500. Thanks in advance for any info.

Based on this page, it's either a 2000 or 4000 built after 64 and a different rear on it. It doesn't have a pto or hydraulics even though the model number says it was equipped with a pto. Looks to have a Sherman backhoe. Just wondering if it's worth picking up at $1500 or less with the loader and hoe. I would get it if the power steering would swap over to my Ford 2600, but I doubt that would be the case.

I agree that this is a ford 2000 or 4000 industrial. based off of the size of the hoe it is a 4000. Is it worth 1500 is only a question you can answer for yourself.
Does it run?
Is there rust on the hydraulic cylinders?

You will need at minimum:
new rear tires
paint
basic tuneup
battery
all new hydraulic hoses $$$$ (loader and tractor will be close to $400)

Then there are uncertainties
Does the hyd pump work
Does the valves on the loader work?
Does the valves on the backhoe work?
How is the clutch?

This could be a money pit.
But this also could be a fun project. No matter what you will need to work on it and spend money to gt it operational.
If you do not have the skills to do the work yourself then do not buy it. You will loose too much money to pay someone to do the work.

How are you going to get the loader and backhoe home?
The tractor can be pulled / pushed on a trailer, but the loader and BH will need to be loaded.

Thanks for the advice/info. I also felt it could potentially be a money pit. But if most of the other major things you mentioned are serviceable (cylinders/pump), the I too think it would be a cool project. It supposedly has a new clutch in it. I will be back down there Thursday and will look it over more closely. I may be able to get it for half that since I am family. The transport part is the most tricky part of all this, like you said. I may be able to come up with something. I'm buying the paint booth that is there for my buddy for $1500. I can get him to paint it for me. :)

1964 4000 series light industrial non-adjustable front axle and a 4-speed trans w/PTO

Agree, price is all going to depend on if it runs and how well, and what the condition of the hydraulics and backhoe are in.

Yes its ugly, but if it is mechanically sound, and the hoe and loader dont have alot of rotted hoses and pitted cylinders, as ugly as it is, in working condition would fetch ~$3k-$4k around here. And 5k-6k for a good looking one that was also a good runner with no major issues

Thanks a lot for your insight. That is definitely food for thought. I could definitely use a backhoe here on the farm. I'm going to look it over real good when I'm up there on Thursday. I have plenty of tools and can make some space for it if need be. I'll keep you posted. :)

Got to take a better look at this bad boy today. Some of the hoses on the backhoe look like the will need to be replaced. Some of the cylinders have some nicks and a little pitting. Not real sure what to do with this thing. Might be able to get it for half of what they are asking (asking $1500). Anyway, here are some pics.

The model number indicates a 4000. The steering is of the 2000 style of the day and the next generation 2000 & 3000. The rear axle is agricultural red suggesting a replacement. The rust spots on the cylinder rods could be polished with crocus cloth to smooth them out to likely avoid damaging the rod seals. I can't tell if the backhoe is a 713 (10 ft.) or a 723 (13 ft.).
