Ford 1210
All, I'm looking at a Ford 1210 with a 4' finish mower. My question is on the pto.....When I depress the clutch will the mower deck stop running? How do you back into an area to cut? Is starting and stopping the deck alot bad for it? Thanks in advance,

Re: Ford 1210
Hello and Welcome,
Yes it will stop the PTO when you depress the clutch.
I never had problems operating my old 1210 that way. In fact it was a very hard working and dependable machine.

Re: Ford 1210
Thanks. Any idea what an extra clean 1210 4x4 with 430 hours is worth? Included is a 4' ford finish that has been used probably 3 times.

Re: Ford 1210
Not exactly sure what the actuall cost might be but I can tell you that I got $5500.00 on trade for mine. My 1210 had approx. 1300 hrs and a 768 front end loader.
I believe I paid around $5000.00 for it in the mid 90's.
Keep an eye on Ebay. I often see 1210's listed for auction.
Hope this helped.
