Well, I would like to thank everyone for the info, and Jinman for his sage advice. I took the opprtunity to inspect the machine. Turns out that the model number was a typo. It is a TC40DA, 2004 model, and it has less than two hours on it. It is a brand new machine with no issues. I got the dealer to throw in 50-hour service and and I am happy with the price I got. I will be picking up the machine next week, and I will have pictures for y'all at that time. Thanks again! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Whew! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] That's a whole different story. It's amazing how a single letter "A" can change your deal from questionable to a very good deal. Congratulations, that's a very good price.

Yep. They're putting on the QA stuff right now. I plan on picking it up next Thursday. Of course, I will post pictures for all of the fine TBN folks who helped me reach this point.
