King Kutter 72\" side & Woods 7500 Back Hoe

My local dealer quoted these with a TC25D. Pricing all seems OK per these forums. Does anyone have this equipment that would care to comment on the quality. Does the Back hoe fit OK on the 25D? Thanks all, Mike

Thanks John,
I could find info about this stuff down in Attachments. Unfortuantly it was mostly Kobota Tractors comments. Some said the BH chassi wasn't tight enough to the rear end of the B2910. Looks tight in the photo (On the NH). I also read to check Quality Farm and Fleet for the KingKutter, which was 400 less than my dealer. Thanks again, Mike

Thought I would get alot more replys...... FYI: The KK seemed best as far as built. Zerk's where they need to be and cast pulleys. KK doesn't make a rear discharge. Bummer, so I've emailed corporate to ask them if it would hurt to torch 1.5-2" out of the rear end and cover the side. I'm assuming I'll only get back "not recommended." If that happens I'll send it with one of the co-ops from work to Kettering (formerly GMI) to throw around in class. I ended up ordering a 757c since my dealer offered it at 300 more than the 7500 (5896$). I figured any possibility of warranty work was worth the extra cash.

My reply from KK.
THE WAY THE DECK IS BAFFLED DESIGNING THE MOWER THIS WAY WILL NOT WORK THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO. THE GEARBOX HAS 2 PLUGS-ONE UP TOWARD THE TOP AND
ANOTHER DOWN LOWER, POUR IN FROM TOP UNTIL IT RUNS OUT BOTTOM, USING 90-140WT. GEAROIL.

Everone wants to discuss the plugs............. I needed to know how much to purchase first. Anyway, Quality said about 1 quart. I bought 2 to be safe.

Went to a 72" Landpride rear discharge. What a difference. Plus the peice of mind cutting up around the vehicle and house without the worry of shooting something into a window made it well worth it.
