Yes, I have the same tractor. It's a 25 hp/24pto. I'll have to dig up my owner's manuel to get you the rest.

TBAILEY:

I had a Ford 1100 4WD for 20+ years. According to my manuals it was 13HP/11PTO HP. It was a small and manuverable little tank and was able to do everything I demanded of it. It could handle hills better than my NH TC29DA and brush hogged 7+ A's of a rough and overgrown sloped obstacle course without problem with a 40" rotary mower (It took awhile.). It's 42" Woods tiller handled NE packed clay/stone better than the tiller ultimately did. Fuel Tank = 3.7G, Cooling System = 3.2G, Engine Crankcase = 3Qts/3.2 with filter change, Rear Axle/Transmission = 20Qts, Front Axle Differential Case = 1.6Qts, Front Axle Final Reduction Gear Case = 0.21Qts, Oil = 10W CD < 32 degrees F, 20W CD 32 - 50 degrees F, 30W CD > 50 degrees F. I wish "She Who Must Be Obeyed" would have let me keep it when I "upgraded" :( If you need anymore information let us know. It is a solid little tractor :) :D Jay

My Ford 1100 is on it's way out also, after having owned it for about the same 20 years. Been a GREAT little tractor, doing things that only a fool would ask a tractor twice that size to do.
Hope you have half the luck with it that I have had.

Funny, I have an 1100 4x4 (that is fixing to be sold) and it is only 13Hp. Would have figured a 1000 to be a similar tractor.

I think you may find that there are 2 different 1000's in Fords past. One was the predessor of the 1100 and the other a higher hp unit from the 1000,2000,3000... series.

the 1000 ford in the 1000,2000,3000 series was built in japan by shim.... something, is a 23 horsepower tractor, and holds 5.3 quarts of oil with a filter change and uses a napa 1512 filter. my dad is in the process of rebuilding ours because it cracked a piston and i need to know how tight to torque everything. i haven't seen much information on this tractor anywhere. hope this helps...

The 1000 tractor was a 2 cyl built from 73 to 78. Shibaru was the manufacturer.

the 2000/3000 3 cyl model was a ford built 3 cyl from 65-75.

there was an early 2000 4 cyl ford built from 63-64 that was basiaclly a 601 model.

The 1000 was not really related in any way to the 2000/3000.
