Ford 1220
There is a good sized equipment auction coming up here on Saturday. I jsut happened to be passing the fairgrounds and saw some of the stuff set out in preparation, so stopped in to see what was there. There is a very nice Ford 1220 with 550 hours and a MMM. Anyone with some idea what it's worth?

Re: Ford 1220
There is one for sale near me for 4900$
I'd offer less than that.

Re: Ford 1220
Hello,
I got a 1996 1215 for $5900.00, came with a FEL, landscape rake, boxblade, 500# spreader and a Turfco aireator. The tractor is a 4wd hydro and had 925 hours on it. The 1220 is the same unit but has power steering. The condition of the paint was very good. I would say a 7.5 out of 10. I would think the unit your looking at would be worth $2500 based on my purchase. just my 2 cents.
I love mine but its a tad small for what I use it for (food plots, trail cutting and brush cutting)

Re: Ford 1220
What's the engine HP rating? The tractor is physically about 30% bigger than my 16 hp B7100. Do you happen to know the weight?

Re: Ford 1220
The 1220 was made for about 10 years, so a lot of different condition tractors may be out there. They around 14.5 HP PTO and weigh 1300-1400 lbs depending on year and 2WD or 4WD/Hydro.

Re: Ford 1220
Thanks. I decided to pass on the auction -- I checked the fairgrounds again last night and the Ford was nowhere to be seen.
